Servo drive parameter setting method

In the automation equipment, often used servo motor, especially the position control,

Most of the brand of servo motor has a position control function, through the controller to send pulses to control the servo motor operation,

The number of pulses corresponds to the angle of rotation, Servo drive the pulse frequency corresponds to the speed (with the electronic gear set)

When a new system, the parameters can not work, first set the position gain to ensure that the motor no noise, as far as possible,

Moment of inertia is also very important, can be set by the number of self-learning reference,

And then set the speed gain and speed integration time to ensure continuous operation at low speed, the position accuracy can be controlled.

  1. Position Proportional Gain: Servo drive Sets the proportional gain of the position loop regulator. The larger the setting value, the higher the gain, the greater the stiffness, the smaller the position lag amount under the same frequency command pulse condition. But the value is too large may cause oscillation or overshoot. The parameter values are determined by the specific servo system model and load conditions.

  2. Position feedforward gain: Sets the feedforward gain of the position loop. When the setting value is larger, Servo drive it means that the feedforward gain of the position loop is larger and the high-speed response characteristic of the control system is improved under the command pulse of any frequency, but the position of the system is unstable and oscillation is likely to occur. When the high response characteristics are not required, this parameter is usually set to 0: 0 to 100%

  3. Speed Proportional Gain: Sets the proportional gain of the speed regulator. The higher the set value, the higher the gain and the greater the stiffness. The parameter values are determined according to the specific servo drive system type and load value. In general, Servo drive the greater the load inertia, the greater the set value. In the system does not produce oscillation conditions, try to set a larger value.
